PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Scope of work issued by the client: current compaction equipment had outgrown its useful life. Due to increases in the daily tonnage of waste that was processed at the facility the existing compactors were no longer able to keep pace. In order to meet the demand both now and the next 10 years the client had to go to the marketplace to find the right compactor. In addition the compactors had to be able to process yard waste and tree clippings which created a unique bridging problem inside the fill hoppers. RDI accomplished both tasks by offering the client 15 cubic yard compactors fitted with hydraulic pre-press systems that enabled all materials to be pushed down directly into the compactor charge chambers from where it could be easily compacted into the clients transfer trailers.
